About this role

  • Reports directly to the Operations Manager for service delivery results
  • Communicate team status, task accomplishment, and direction (oversee and monitor day-to-day operations).
  • Provides status of reporting to client.
  • Serves as a focal point to communicate and resolve issues.
  • Escalate issues that cannot be resolved by the team.
  • Provide guidance to the team based on management direction and the client’s direction.
  • Develop an action plan that the team will use to reach their goals.
  • Lead and facilitate constructive communication (problem-solving and collaboration).
  • Discover Training needs and provide coaching and mentoring.
  • Focus the team on the tasks at hand or the client’s requirements.
  • Perform job tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics and end to end of the Customer Service function of freight forwarding.
  • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor.
  • Experience in Cargowise and other systems.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
  • Strong familiarity with the Internet and MS Office applications.
  • Previous contact center experience is an advantage.
