Lead Data Scientist

About this role

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a Real Estate & Construction environment.


Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available


Compensation: $152,600 – $190,700 annually


Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents to address pricing and sales challenges
• Apply machine vision on home attributes to enhance pricing and personalization
• Engineer and maintain reliable and scalable data pipelines
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems and protocols
• Run experiments to optimize model performance and measure impact
• Ensure observability and continuous monitoring of deployed solutions
• Translate complex data insights into clear recommendations for diverse audiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Statistics, Computer Science, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience in data science or ML engineering
• Strong skills in Python and SQL with end-to-end data science stack ownership
• Hands-on experience with AI frameworks like Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore
• Familiarity with experimentation frameworks (e.g., A/B testing, uplift modeling)
• Experience in machine vision and NLP techniques
• Strong engineering skills for designing production systems
