Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Junior Accountant located in Greater London, with flexibility for some work-from-home opportunities. The Junior Accountant will support day-to-day financial operations, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, and supporting audits. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing support to senior accountants in managing client portfolios.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
• Proficiency in using accounting software and tools, with excellent attention to detail
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with numbers
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) are a plus
• Previous experience or internships in an accounting or financial role are advantageous
