About The Role
The Senior Data Engineer will be a vital member of Watts’ Information Technology / Global Data & Analytics team, responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing the company's enterprise data engineering ecosystem. This role involves leading the architecture of scalable data pipelines and ingestion strategies that support analytics, reporting, and artificial intelligence initiatives across Watts’ global business units. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced technologies such as Azure Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, and SAP ecosystem tools to enable sophisticated data analytics, governance, and scalable enterprise data solutions. This position offers an opportunity to drive the next generation of Watts’ data platform, ensuring robust, reliable, and efficient data infrastructure. While this role does not have direct reports, it involves providing technical mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level data engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical leadership.
