(WFH) Senior Software QA Engineer

About this role

## Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Identify and adopt new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Responsible for timely completion of quality tests within project timeline and ensuring high quality release.
• Develop, maintain, and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and
automated testing.
• Conduct comprehensive performance testing, regression testing, end to end testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Execute API testing using tools like Postman or Bruno, ensuring backend functionality and seamless integration.
• Collaborate with software engineers, business analyst, product owner, and other stakeholders to ensure all
project requirements and quality standards are met.
• Identify, report, and track bugs, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

## Requirements:

• 1. 4+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and automated testing (bonus).
• Demonstrated knowledge of structured testing and testing methodologies.
• Experience working within an Agile or delivery environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and review meetings
• Proficient in test planning, execution, defect management and reporting.
• Proven hands-on experience in test automation frameworks and tools is a bonus.
• Leadership/mentoring experience in prior roles as a Senior QA.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and a commitment to the team's schedules and goals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for working across teams.
• Capable of managing multiple testing tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written.
