About this role
## Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Identify and adopt new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Responsible for timely completion of quality tests within project timeline and ensuring high quality release.
- Develop, maintain, and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
- Conduct comprehensive performance testing, regression testing, end to end testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Execute API testing using tools like Postman or Bruno, ensuring backend functionality and seamless integration.
- Collaborate with software engineers, business analyst, product owner, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements and quality standards are met.
- Identify, report, and track bugs, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.
## Requirements:
- 1. 4+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and automated testing (bonus).
- Demonstrated knowledge of structured testing and testing methodologies.
- Experience working within an Agile or delivery environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and review meetings
- Proficient in test planning, execution, defect management and reporting.
- Proven hands-on experience in test automation frameworks and tools is a bonus.
- Leadership/mentoring experience in prior roles as a Senior QA.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and a commitment to the team's schedules and goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for working across teams.
- Capable of managing multiple testing tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written.
