Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
AWS RDS DBA (PostgreSQL) / Cloud Database Operations Engineer
to manage the reliability, performance, security, and operational integrity of enterprise database platforms hosted on AWS.


The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in PostgreSQL database administration, Amazon RDS, cloud database operations, performance tuning, backup and recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery.


This role will support mission-critical applications across production and non-production environments while collaborating with Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Data Engineering, Security, and Application Development teams.


Key Responsibilities

• AWS RDS Administration & Operations
• Manage and administer Amazon RDS PostgreSQL environments across development, testing, staging, DR, and production.
• Configure and maintain RDS instances, parameter groups, option groups, security groups, and database connectivity.
• Implement and manage multi-AZ deployments and read replicas.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams on VPC, Direct Connect, PrivateLink, and cloud networking requirements.
