$90,000–$105,000 + Benefits

A growing healthcare services organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This role will be responsible for overseeing month-end close activities, preparing financial reporting packages, performing account analyses, and supporting operational leaders with financial information across multiple business units.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, accountability, and collaboration are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for multiple operating entities
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances, trends, and discrepancies
• Maintain fixed asset schedules, prepaid expenses, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts
• Partner with internal departments to ensure the accuracy of financial data and reporting
• Support external audits, tax preparation, and compliance-related requests
• Assist with process improvements and the implementation of accounting best practices
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and management reports as needed
• Ensure financial records are maintained in accordance with company policies and accounting standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and month-end close responsibilities
• Strong understanding of financial statement preparation and account reconciliation processes
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
