SUMMARY OF ROLE

The Programs and Operations Manager carries a portfolio of grants and partner relationships from due diligence through final reporting, and provides administrative and financial support to the operations of Choose Love, Inc.

The role requires flexibility. You will respond to humanitarian crises in line with our emergency protocols while also supporting the transition of those responses into longer-term protracted programs work. You will identify problems across project implementation, mitigate programmatic risk, and resolve issues promptly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

*Grant Management and partner engagement*

  • Manage the full grant cycle for an assigned portfolio: due diligence, agreements and addenda, payment processing, records, and reporting deadlines
  • Review and provide feedback on partner narrative and financial reports
  • Manage ongoing relationships with new and existing partners through regular calls and site visits; track takeaways and action items for internal circulation
  • Connect partners to one another where appropriate, and join monitoring trips as needed
  • Conduct funding needs assessments for emergency responses and ongoing portfolios
