We are looking for a sharp, part-time AI Developer to join a London-based legal and tax function to design, build, and deploy intelligent tools using Large Language Models (LLMs) like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini..

The Role

• Lead the end-to-end development of an AI-powered Regulatory Horizon Scanning tool to monitor and analyze global financial market shifts.

• Design and build custom AI applications using Python to automate complex legal workflows and enhance data analysis capabilities.

• Integrate advanced LLM APIs including Claude (Anthropic), ChatGPT (OpenAI), and Gemini (Google) into production-ready internal tools.

• Collaborate closely with the specialized Machine Learning and Risk & Compliance teams to ensure all AI solutions are scalable and robust.

• Empower the wider legal team through technical knowledge sharing, helping non-technical colleagues master new AI-driven processes.

What You'll Need

• Currently enrolled in a University program (2nd-year Undergraduate to PhD level) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or Law.

• Strong technical proficiency in Python and extensive experience working with data APIs to fetch and process information.

• Hands-on familiarity with modern AI development environments and a solid understanding of Prompt Engineering and LLM integration.

• Previous experience with Cloud platforms (AWS or similar) and Front-End technologies for building user interfaces is highly advantageous.

• A proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to work 2-3 days per week (flexible around your studies) through the end of 2026.
