Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Deputy Controller based in Manila, with opportunities for remote work on select days. The Deputy Controller will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, tax, bank reconciliation, billing, reinsurance accounting and compliance to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial information. Responsibilities include managing internal controls, leading financial audits, analyzing operational costs, and developing strategies for financial efficiency. Additionally, the Deputy Controller will collaborate across departments to implement effective financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis
• Proficiency in internal controls, compliance, and regulatory reporting
• Experience with financial audits and risk assessment processes
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and tools
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
• Understanding of the non-life insurance industry is a strong advantage
• Ability to manage a hybrid work schedule, balancing office-based and remote work effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php150,000.00 - Php200,000.00 per month
