About the Opportunity
Expansion International is partnering with a fast-growing European digital hospitality technology company to recruit an experienced Full Stack Engineer with a backend lean.
Our client runs an award-winning, white-label digital hospitality platform used by hotels and serviced apartments worldwide. The platform is fully cloud-native and runs in a Kubernetes environment on Google Cloud.
As the engineering team grows, they are adding a developer to own features end to end, from database schema to the interface in a guest's or host's hand. This is additional headcount on an established team of experienced developers.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced engineer with at least 5 years of commercial experience who is strong in Java/Spring with solid React and comfortable leaning backend.
You will own features end to end at the execution level, delivering complete, working vertical slices within an existing design. Architecture decisions sit with the Business Architect and the Head of Technology, who set the direction you build against.
Work can range from integrations (for example connecting a new payment provider) to new end-to-end features that enhance the product. Java is the top priority. The platform is reactive (Spring WebFlux) and cloud-native, with tooling that does much of the heavy lifting around the infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
● Own features end to end: lead development from data model to UI, delivering complete, working vertical slices.
● Build reactive Java/Spring backends (GraphQL and REST APIs) and responsive, accessible React front ends.
