Role Description:

Optum is seeking a talented and motivated individual to deploy technology solutions to our clients in the healthcare market. The ideal candidate will have experience in Healthcare IT system implementations as well as Revenue Cycle Management. This position requires a blend of project management, client management as well as process and product knowledge. This candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. They should enjoy working with a team, interacting with clients and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

This position is within the OI Delivery PMO Revenue Cycle Back Office team that manages a large volume of simultaneous implementations Rev cycle products. This OI Delivery organization is tasked with deploying these technologies quickly, efficiently, at a high level of quality, and to the delight of our customers. The Senior Implementation project manager plays a critical role, both internally and externally, in support of these goals.

Responsibilities:

· Lead implementations as the client-facing project manager for complex and or multi-program implementations. This includes the creation, management, and oversight of project plans to achieve high quality, on-time implementations that result in a satisfied, referenceable client as well as meet established KPI Metrics.

· Provide expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation and other areas based on established project management techniques.

· Develop project artifacts, following documented business processes. These will be developed in partnership with project leadership and stakeholders.

· Manage project schedules and work with team to identify and achieve delivery dates, including developing detailed project plans, dependencies, predecessors, and milestones.
