We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) by ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and quality of customer experience and data analytics solutions. In this role, you will serve as a key quality advocate within our Customer Experience Insights (CXI) team, helping deliver trusted data products that inform decision-making and improve services for Veterans nationwide.

The ideal candidate is passionate about data quality, process improvement, and building scalable testing frameworks. You will collaborate closely with Data Engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to validate data, establish quality standards, and ensure that every release meets the highest level of excellence before reaching end users.

What You'll Do

• Establish and maintain quality assurance standards across the Customer Experience Insights (CXI) program.
• Validate new data source ingestions for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business requirements.
• Review and validate conditioned data sets to ensure data integrity and usability.
• Evaluate the performance of new processes and enhancements to ensure they meet customer expectations.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to develop and improve automated QA tests for data validation.
• Review QA tests developed by engineering teams and ensure compliance with established testing standards.
• Create reusable test plans, templates, and validation frameworks that can be leveraged across teams.
• Mentor team members on QA best practices, methodologies, and quality processes.
• Identify, document, and communicate data quality issues, risks, and recommendations.
• Serve as the final quality review before solutions and enhancements are released to CX Insights users.
