About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. This role is pivotal in supporting our public sector client’s data migration and conversion initiatives. The Data Engineer will work remotely from Los Angeles, CA, and will be responsible for executing complex data extraction, transformation, and loading activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in legacy systems, data mapping, and data validation processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical data projects, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with government standards. The successful candidate will collaborate across organizational units, coordinate data migration efforts, and facilitate knowledge transfer to ensure the seamless transition of legacy data into modern systems.


Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting data migration, field mapping, crosswalk analysis, and data validation projects.
