About this role
Klipsch Senior Care, LLC d/b/a Home Instead
Business Development Advisor
Build relationships. Grow our reach. Change lives in Hendricks County and the surrounding areas.
This position is based out of our physical office in West Indianapolis. While the territory covers West Indianapolis and the surrounding areas, priority will be given to developing referral relationships in Hendricks County.
Are you the person everyone in the room already knows — or wants to? Do you light up when you’re out building relationships, not sitting behind a desk? We’re looking for a Business Development Advisor with a heart for our community and the drive to match it.
This role is for someone who builds trust naturally, shows up consistently, and doesn’t quit after the first “not right now.” You’ll be the face of Home Instead to hospitals, physicians, senior living communities, and the people who refer families to us every day — turning relationships into referrals and referrals into care for seniors who need it, with a particular focus on the Hendricks County community.
What the workday looks like
This is a full-time, field-based position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Most of your day is spent out in your territory: visiting referral partners in person, attending networking events, and doing community outreach. Our partners work during business hours, so that’s when you need to be out there with them. You’ll have the freedom to plan your own day and route your own visits. But this is not a remote role, and it isn’t built around a flexible personal schedule. Occasional evening or weekend events come with the job.
You might be a great fit if you…
* Genuinely love connecting with people and remember the details that matter to them
* Have a heart for seniors and the community you’d be serving
* Are persistent — you follow up, you show up, and you don’t let a relationship go cold
* Are self-driven and plan your own week well, and you’d rather spend your workday out meeting people than behind a desk or at home
* Are ready to be out in the field every weekday, during business hours, when our referral partners are available
* Thrive on the sales process, from the first cold call to the signed referral partnership
What you’ll be doing
* Spending most of your workday in the field, with in-person visits to referral partners, networking events, and community outreach across your territory
* Growing our Referral Provider Network across hospitals, physicians, home health, assisted living, hospice, and more in West Indianapolis and the surrounding areas, with Hendricks County as a priority focus area
* Meeting weekly inquiry and referral goals for your territory
* Representing the Home Instead brand in the community — in 1:1 meetings and in front of a room
* Reporting your wins and your opportunities directly to your General Manager
If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you.
Objective

Revenue is to be generated from a variety of Sales and Marketing duties, including researching and pursuing new referral sources, and enhancing and maintaining relationships with existing referral sources. This position is responsible for reporting results in moving relationships forward to the General Manager of the franchise location on a weekly basis, discussing successes and opportunities, and demonstrating documented progress and inquiry production in Sales/Marketing/Networking areas.
