Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Frontend Engineer (Coding Agent Experience) to work on a contractual basis. This person will use frontier AI coding agents to complete and evaluate complex engineering tasks, focusing on realistic frontend engineering workflows and model evaluation. The work will involve reviewing model-generated frontend code for correctness, quality, maintainability, accessibility, and performance, and applying professional engineering judgment to realistic frontend engineering scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use frontier AI coding agents to complete and evaluate complex engineering tasks, such as building modern web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar technologies.

• Review model-generated frontend code for correctness, quality, maintainability, accessibility, and performance, identifying bugs, edge cases, and failure modes in model outputs.

• Compare outputs from multiple frontier models and assess their strengths and weaknesses, applying professional engineering judgment to realistic frontend engineering scenarios.

• Evaluate model-generated frontend implementations, UI architecture, and performance optimizations, providing feedback on areas for improvement.

• Work on a sprint-based project that runs in 12-24 hour stretches based on client requirements, delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Have 2+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, with a strong background in building modern web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar technologies.

• Have experience using AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, or similar tools, and be able to evaluate model-generated frontend code for correctness and quality.
