About the Role
We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to build the systems that turn real-world patient interactions into increasingly capable AI agents. You will own the feedback loop from production usage through evaluation, data capture, and reinforcement-learning-driven improvement.
This role spans voice AI, autonomous workflow agents, and real-time copilots that support healthcare advocates. You will work closely with company leadership to ship reliable, production-grade systems that improve continuously and directly support better patient outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Build and deploy **voice AI** that supports patient activation and handles outbound calls with insurers, vendors, and healthcare providers.
- Design agents that orchestrate end-to-end healthcare workflows, including durable medical equipment delivery, prior authorizations, and care coordination.
- Develop real-time copilots that assist and guide healthcare advocates.
- Establish evaluation infrastructure to measure AI-agent quality across interactions.
- Capture product-usage signals, create feedback loops, and implement reinforcement-learning pipelines that enable continuous performance improvement.
- Compose voice, workflow, and copilot agents into a cohesive AI Nurse experience with shared learning across systems.
- Deploy quickly, monitor real-world performance, and iterate based on actual patient conversations.
- Partner with leadership to shape the technical roadmap and make informed bets on emerging AI capabilities.
- Make scalable architectural decisions and establish engineering practices that support growth from hundreds to hundreds of thousands of patients.
