The Opportunity

As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced
Accountant
to join our collaborative, fully remote team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the full accounting cycle for multiple clients and work closely with our internal team and external partners to deliver high-quality, timely financial insights.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, self-managed, and comfortable working with clients across different industries.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Accounting & Reporting

• Maintain accurate financial records and record daily transactions
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow)
• Generate management reports and provide financial insights

Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

• Assist with budgets and forecasts
• Monitor actuals vs. budget and flag variances
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial risks
• Analyze financial data to support business decisions

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Manage invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
• Track outstanding receivables and follow up as needed
• Process employee reimbursements

Compliance & Audit Support

• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations
• Prepare and file tax submissions (e.g., GST, income tax)
• Support internal and external audits
