## Job Description

The Business Analyst’s role is to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders, be they customers or end users. This includes strategic planning of project & initiatives, interviewing stakeholders, gathering and compiling user requirements, and working with development teams to understand and implement the technology solutions they need.

The Business Analyst will also apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help the business make good technology decisions. The Business Analyst will also be proactive about working with the business functional areas to look for new technologies to optimize business processes.

The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring Technologies understanding of business requirements.

Responsibilities

- Liaison with Enterprise Tech team, Operations, and Finance teams to address cohesive articulation of business goals and processes to ensure effective technology solutions and process improvements.
- Able to gain clear insights into current business practices, work with those users and develop written business process flows for specific business functions and understand where overlap and intersection occurs.
- Ability to create and present key requirements for:
- Effective communication with all employee levels and levels of management
- Scope Documents
- Use Cases
- Detailed Specification of Key Business Rules
- Process/Data Diagrams
- Maintain system documentation
- Develop and implement solutions for user requirements
- Provide Specs and Design documentation to the Technical team
- Understanding and ability to analyze and query application data.
- Verification of feasibility of Business User’s request functionality and business rules based on existing technical systems and data structures.
- Collaborate and work as a team - motivate small project teams.
