Sr Business Analyst

About this role

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Business Analyst to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a Pharmaceuticals & Biotech environment.


Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available


Compensation: $160,722 – $186,000 annually


Responsibilities

• Implement quantitative and qualitative analyses of Key Performance metrics for projects
• Interact and collaborate with multiple organizational functions in a dynamic environment
• Collect relevant operational data to inform business decision-making
• Gather business requirements and support teams within the Analytical Instruments Group
• Lead a team of Business Analysts to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Document work products and conduct regular data quality checks
• Understand reporting generation processes to aid IT in automation efforts

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
• 6 years of Business Intelligence or related experience
• 2 years with structured data sources and database-driven reporting tools like SQL
• 2 years of experience in Power BI and data visualization tools
• Proficient in Python notebooks in cloud analytics environments (e.g., Databricks)
