POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Qcells is looking for a Senior Analyst M&A to support the Project Acquisition and Due Diligence team within CCI (Community, Commercial, Industrial) business by supporting the execution of community solar and energy storage project/portfolio acquisition including valuation, due diligence, investment proposal, etc. Emphasis for the position will be on highly self-sufficient individuals with leadership, finance, modeling, and presentation skills, working closely with project origination, engineering, product, legal, and project finance teams.


This position is based remote position with preference of candidates in East or Midwest.


Responsibilities

• Perform thorough due diligence (including technical, financial, and legal evaluation, and data validation), deal negotiation, and complex transaction execution.
• Manage cross-functional teams to complete due diligence and lead transaction through an in-depth understanding of real estate, project permitting, and interconnection.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management, investment committee, and stakeholders.
• Update project documentation through the acquisition lifecycle and assist with project timeline and deadline management related to acquisition activities and post-closing items to support transition to construction/operations team.
• Oversee the integration of acquired projects into the company's portfolio, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure seamless transition and operation.
• Perform market & competitive analyses and contribute to developing business strategies and frameworks to expand operating PV/ESS assets in the states.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization including project finance, project engineering/management, grid services, and legal.
