About this role
Overview
Lyra Leads is a new startup that aims to bring a data-driven approach to D2D canvassing. Our platform filters and scores individual properties against campaign criteria and plans optimised canvassing routes around them, giving representatives a clear starting point for each visit. The aim is to focus your time on homes with greater potential suitability.
We're recruiting Sales Representatives with previous Solar Sales experience for a campaign supporting one installation partner across Birmingham, covering Solar PV initially, with expansion to ASHPs soon. The role involves speaking with homeowners to establish interest in a data driven way and collect preliminary survey information to help the installer prepare suitable recommendations and quotations. In situations where a prospect is busy for the survey, a revisit may be booked for further follow up.
This is a self-employed, commission-only role. Commission is £250 per completed Solar PV installation and £150 per completed ASHP installation. Payment follows receipt of installer payment, normally expected around 14 days after installation.
As the company grows, more opportunities will be available in other roles (like operations) depending on what your skillsets are.
Responsibilities
Visit properties identified through the Lyra Leads platform and work through assigned canvassing routes.
Introduce Solar PV and ASHPs to prospects in a data-driven way, explaining products clearly and answering relevant questions.
Establish homeowner interest and collect information needed to qualify each prospect and aid in quotation provided by the installer.
Complete revisits and preliminary surveys on the platform, recording property details and photographs with the resident's permission.
Record outcomes and permissions accurately through the platform when visiting each prospect.
Distribute the correct personalised leaflets whilst on a route and explain how residents can access their online portal.
Previous Solar Sales experience is essential.
Previous ASHP Sales experience is desirable, but not essential at this stage.
Confident communicating with homeowners face to face and responding to common questions asked.
Organised and reliable, with the ability to follow up on interested prospects.
Comfortable using an iPad to navigate through the platform, follow routes and carry out surveys and revisits.
Reliable transport to reach assigned Birmingham routes, arranged at your own expense for now.
Availability for at least three weekday sessions starting at 5pm, plus Saturday and Sunday sessions starting around midday.
