About The Role
We are seeking multiple Real Time Software Engineers at both mid-level and senior levels to join our dynamic team within the Phantom Works program. This role will be based in Hazelwood, MO, Cambridge, MA, or Mesa, AZ, and involves developing sophisticated Vehicle Management System (VMS) software that supports Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) operations. The VMS is crucial for providing flight and subsystem control for advanced platforms, ensuring safety, reliability, and performance in mission-critical environments. The successful candidates will play a vital role in designing, developing, and integrating software components that meet stringent industry standards and customer requirements.


Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, experience, and educational background. For mid-level positions (Level 3), candidates should have at least 5 years of experience with C/C++, a minimum of 3 years designing and developing software for real-time or non-real-time systems, and over 5 years of experience in the software development lifecycle. Additionally, at least 1 year of experience in safety or flight-critical software development is required. Preferred candidates will hold a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited institution.
