Senior Project Manager, R&D: Drug Development | EMEA, GB

We're working with a global biotherapeutics powerhouse and leader in plasma-derived therapies on this exciting opportunity. We are looking for a high-impact leader to bridge the gap between scientific discovery and life-saving delivery, managing a high-stakes portfolio across cell and gene therapy, recombinant protein technology, and plasma fractionation platforms.

This isn't just a coordination role; it’s a strategic engine room position where you will navigate complex biotech ecosystems to accelerate innovation. You will leverage your deep expertise in drug development and project management tools like Microsoft Project to drive critical path activities and steer global, multidisciplinary teams toward regulatory milestones.

The Role

• Lead and synchronize global, cross-functional teams spanning Discovery, Clinical, Regulatory, CMC, and Commercial workflows to ensure seamless project progression.

• Translate high-level R&D strategy into executable project plans with rigorous oversight of timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Serve as the primary driver of decision-making, evaluating complex scenarios and technical challenges to maintain momentum on the critical path.

• Manage high-level stakeholder communication, presenting concise technical updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

• Mentor and coach junior project managers to instill disciplined delivery and best-in-class R&D project management methodology across the organization.

What You'll Need

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Biotech or Pharmaceutical R&D, with at least 5 years specifically leading cross-functional drug development programs.

• Strong technical mastery of the drug development lifecycle, including Clinical Trial operations, Regulatory Affairs, and CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls).
