Senior IT Business Analyst

About this role

We are seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst for a 3-month contract engagement to support business and technology initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions within a fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering workshops and stakeholder discussions to understand business needs and project objectives.
• Analyze and document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Act as the bridge between business users and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
• Conduct business process analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Support project delivery activities including solution design reviews, testing coordination, UAT support, and change management.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage requirements traceability and support issue resolution during project implementation.
• Prepare project documentation, presentations, status reports, and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• **5+ years of experience** as an IT Business Analyst in enterprise application, digital transformation, or technology projects.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, business analysis, and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience using tools such as **Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, or similar platforms**.
• Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
