Overview
Job Description
We are looking for an accomplished
Principal Data Platform Engineer
to lead the design, implementation, and governance of complex database and BigData solutions that support large-scale, mission-critical business operations. You will have expertise in both on-premises and cloud-based Data Platform architectures across
AWS
. You will also use
DevOps and automation tools
to refine provisioning, deployment, and monitoring. You will collaborate with architecture and business teams to enhance the data ecosystem and recommend solutions for complex challenges. You are a hands-on technologist, able to guide innovation, performance, and scalability across diverse platforms. You will report to the Director of Data Strategy.


Responsibilities

• Lead global teams in design and architecture discussions with partners, developers, and platform engineers.
• Implement scalable and secure database architectures for enterprise systems across multi-availability-zone, multi-region cloud-native platforms (AWS, and private cloud).
