The role
AI agents and complex workflows often fail. This company builds a lightweight runtime that makes them durable, letting engineers focus on logic, not failure mechanics. Their Rust-based runtime, featuring a custom storage layer and low-latency orchestration, already powers critical financial workflows for Fortune 500 enterprises and Tier 1 banks. The team is small, remote-first, and led by experienced founders from critical open-source projects and large-scale infrastructure at tech giants, backed by leading VCs and prominent angel investors from successful infrastructure companies.


This is an end-to-end ownership role. You won't just operate existing infrastructure; you'll design and build the cloud platform that powers their multi-tenant SaaS, BYOC, and on-prem deployments. This means extending the managed offering across infrastructure, control plane, networking, storage, and observability, while also defining the infrastructure that runs inside customer cloud accounts. It's a rare seat to shape the entire cloud footprint for a product handling critical, compliance-sensitive workloads. You'll also join the cloud on-call rotation, providing crucial timezone coverage for a growing US customer base.
