We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our team in Burbank, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in individual and business tax preparation, advanced tax research skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service. Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, S corporations, trusts, and estates.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings in compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Conduct tax research and provide guidance on tax planning strategies and compliance matters.
• Analyze financial records and supporting documentation to identify tax-saving opportunities.
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices and assist clients with audits and examinations.
• Stay current on federal, state, and local tax law changes and communicate relevant updates to clients and team members.
• Review work prepared by junior staff and provide mentorship and training.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and exceptional service.
• Assist with year-round tax planning and advisory services.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA license (or actively pursuing CPA certification).
• Minimum of 5 years of professional tax preparation experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal and California tax laws and regulations.
• Experience preparing and reviewing complex individual and business tax returns.
• Proficiency with professional tax preparation software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
