About the Role

At Pavago, we are hiring for one of our clients seeking a highly capable Operations Manager to become the operational right hand to the founder of a rapidly growing U.S.-based lending company.

This role will focus on managing day-to-day operations, coordinating projects and third-party vendors, improving processes, and creating the structure needed to scale the business. The ideal candidate is a proactive operator who enjoys solving problems, building systems from scratch, and taking ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.

This is an operational leadership role, not a customer service or loan officer position.

ResponsibilitiesOperations & Project Management

• Manage day-to-day operational execution across the business.
• Own project timelines, priorities, deliverables, and follow-ups.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, technology vendors, legal partners, servicing partners, and third-party providers.
• Work closely with the founder to prioritize initiatives and remove operational roadblocks.

Process & Systems Improvement

• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical solutions.
• Build scalable SOPs, workflows, checklists, and documentation.
• Improve CRM workflows, operational automations, and internal processes.
• Help create systems that support the company's growth and future hiring.

Lending Operations & Documentation

• Review, organize, and maintain lending documentation for accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate document mapping across loan systems, CRM, DocuSign, and servicing platforms.
• Ensure policies, disclosures, privacy documents, and platform communications remain consistent.
• Support operational readiness as the company expands into additional states.

Technology & Vendor Coordination

• Serve as the primary operational point of contact with the outsourced software development team.
