Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise retail staff, including assistant managers and sales teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Oversee inventory management, stock control, merchandising, and product placement to maximize sales potential
• Manage daily store operations such as opening/closing procedures, cash handling, POS system management, and cashiering duties
• Implement employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team skills and performance
• Coordinate purchasing, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to meet sales targets and customer expectations
• Conduct interviewing and recruiting efforts to attract top talent; participate in hiring decisions
• Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare budgets, and oversee payroll processing to ensure financial health of the store
• Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, store policies, and legal regulations including cashiering procedures and inventory control measures
• Utilize management communication skills to effectively delegate tasks, provide feedback, and motivate staff toward shared goals
