About the Role
ClickHouse is seeking an experienced software engineer to join its AI/ML Engineering team. This team develops and operates AI and machine learning products across the ClickHouse platform, including the Agentic Data Stack, AI Functions, chDB, the in-console copilot, and integrations with AI/ML partners.
In this role, you will build AI-powered features across backend services and frontend interfaces, develop APIs that connect ClickHouse database capabilities with AI/ML systems, and integrate models into production environments. You will also contribute to the full machine learning lifecycle, from data preparation and training to evaluation and deployment.
The position requires strong production software engineering experience, practical knowledge of AI/ML technologies, and the ability to take ownership of features from initial design through production. You will collaborate with engineering teams to make AI capabilities easier to integrate throughout the ClickHouse platform and participate in the team's daytime on-call rotation.
