Summary of Position

The Finance & Accounting Manager oversees the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial controls. The role is responsible for managing accounting functions, budgeting, cash flow, payroll review, and the timely processing of government permits and statutory requirements. This position provides strategic financial insights to support decision-making, drives process improvements, and leads the finance team in achieving the company’s financial and operational objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead financial management activities, including preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial data to support business decisions.
• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Manage budgeting processes, financial planning, and cash flow forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and financial reporting standards.
• Supervise preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reconciliations.
• Review and approve payroll register, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Handle application, renewal, and compliance of government permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to executive management.
• Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.
• Support business planning by analyzing financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Resolve financial issues and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
