Red Hat’s North American Public Sector Customer Success team is looking for an experienced
enterprise-level engineer to join us as a Dedicated Operations Technical Account Manager (DO-TAM) in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you will work with a key government customer to provide hands-on "Day 2" operational support, administration, and integration guidance focused primarily on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and core infrastructure platforms.
This is a fully onsite position. You will act as a dedicated resource, working daily at the customer's Colorado Springs facility to tailor support for their environments, facilitate collaboration with other vendors, and serve as their primary Red Hat technical champion.
Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to the Colorado Springs area for daily onsite reporting.
What You Will Do
- Execute Day 2 Platform Operations: Provide hands-on administration, integration support, and maintenance for Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments. Manage system patching, version upgrades, performance tuning, and overall platform stability.
- Onsite Presence: Work onsite daily at the customer facility in Colorado Springs, CO, functioning as a seamless extension of their IT and engineering operations.
- Proactive Issue Prevention: Perform technical reviews, system health checks, and capacity planning. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve OS-level issues before they impact mission-critical deployments.
- Customer Advocacy: Gain a deep understanding of the customer's infrastructure architecture, security postures, and strategic mission goals to serve as their primary Red Hat advocate.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Red Hat Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Support teams to debug, test, and resolve complex platform issues.
