The Role

• Design, deploy, and manage Splunk infrastructure, developing and maintaining dashboards, queries, and alerts.
• Integrate Splunk with various data sources, ensuring comprehensive data ingestion and building robust data pipelines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Splunk performance issues, implementing and enforcing best practices for data management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver innovative Splunk solutions.
• Provide expert user training and support for all Splunk-related activities.

What You'll Need

• 2+ years of hands-on experience managing and configuring Splunk, including architecture components like indexers and search heads.
• 2+ years of experience building data pipelines to parse, normalize, and route data using Splunk configurations (props.conf, transforms.conf).
• Proven experience in Linux and Windows administration, coupled with 1+ years of regex for field extraction and Splunk REST API for automation.
• An active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to undergo a polygraph exam, and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+, CCNA-Security).
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Cyber Security Service Provider - Infrastructure Support certification within 60 days of start date.
