The Role
• Drive the annual budgeting and strategic forecasting process, ensuring precision in financial models and long-term planning.
• Lead monthly close and management reporting, providing deep-dive analysis into cost variances and program profitability.
• Deliver executive-level decision support through capital expenditure justification and ROI analysis for new institutional initiatives.
• Interface cross-functionally with Real Estate, Marketing, and Academic Operations to optimize internal controls and business processes.
• Utilize Cognos and TM1 Planning systems to streamline financial reporting and identify process improvement opportunities.
What You'll Need
• 2+ years of professional experience in Finance or Accounting with a strong grasp of GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
• Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills, specifically in building complex, dynamic financial models from scratch.
• Hands-on experience with corporate ERP systems and financial planning applications (Cognos, TM1, or similar tools preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; an MBA or CPA designation is a significant plus.
