The role owns the analytical foundation of the product and business, turning complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic product and growth decisions.
The data team works closely with product managers, data engineers, and executives to build robust metrics, interactive dashboards, and predictive models that shape company trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data models, dashboards, and reporting pipelines using SQL, dbt, and modern BI tools like Looker or Tableau
- Partner with product and engineering teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs), track user behavior, and measure the impact of new feature launches
- Design and analyze rigorous A/B experiments, calculating statistical significance and delivering recommendations for product optimization
- Perform deep-dive exploratory data analyses to identify user growth bottlenecks, retention levers, and monetization opportunities
- Write clean, version-controlled SQL and Python code, establishing data governance standards and maintaining documentation across the analytics stack
What We Are Looking For
- 3–6 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics engineering within a technology or data-driven organization
- Expert-level SQL skills with experience writing complex queries, window functions, and optimizing performance in cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
- Hands-on experience with transformation and orchestration tools such as dbt and Airflow, alongside modern BI visualization platforms
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis, experiment design (A/B testing), and probability, with proficiency in Python or R for advanced analytics
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
