Business & Technical Analyst

About this role

UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking 2 (two) a Business & Technical Analyst for a hybrid position in New York, NY with alternating days on site to support HR Payroll systems within a public sector environment. Active LinkedIn preferred. This consultant will work under the direction of a project manager to analyze business needs, develop technical and functional documentation, support testing efforts, and ensure the successful operation of payroll-related applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of business analysis, technical documentation, and system support experience.

MANDATORY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical or business discipline.
• Proven experience analyzing and documenting business and technical requirements.

Previous experience on enterprise level Payroll applications strongly preferred

At least 6-years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst

• Experience authoring functional specifications and collaborating with business stakeholders for approval.
