About The Role
The Business System Analyst at Amentum plays a critical role in analyzing and improving business processes through comprehensive data collection, review, and analysis. This position involves identifying business trends and problems, developing actionable recommendations, and supporting the implementation of solutions that enhance efficiency and control costs within assigned Centers of Excellence (COE) or programs. The Business System Analyst collaborates closely with stakeholders to define business requirements, evaluate potential solutions, and ensure that technological and process improvements align with organizational goals. This is a remote telework position based in the United States, requiring US citizenship.


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, process improvement, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in business analysis or process improvement roles
• Proficiency in relational database SQL language
• Experience working with financial transactions, purchase order (PO) systems, and journal entries
• Preferred experience with Costpoint and Cognos reporting tools
• US Citizenship is mandatory
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
