Leidos was awarded the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract. Leidos is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to support C1 operations. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to modernize a leading, global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness.


Location:
This position will be remote, candidate will be required to work onsite as needed.


Primary Responsibilities Could Include
This individual will be responsible for developing in a scalable cloud-native solutions, and ensuring best practices across architecture, development, deployment, and security. This is a hands-on technical role that requires rolling up your sleeves to architect, code, debug, and mentor.

• Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines for secure, automated software delivery.
• Assist with the implementation of DevSecOps pipelines across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Deploy, configure, and support applications in cloud environments.
• Assist with the configuration and maintenance of container platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Support availability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems.
• Help maintain virtualized and hybrid cloud environments to meet performance and security requirements.
• Implement and support automated security tools for vulnerability scanning, SAST/DAST, and container security.
• Monitor system health using logging and monitoring tools and assist with incident troubleshooting and resolution.
• Support infrastructure modernization initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
