For one of our international engineering-focused clients, we are looking for an AI Engineer / ML Engineer to join an R&D initiative focused on intelligent diagram understanding and agentic AI workflows.
The project combines Computer Vision, Knowledge Graphs, Generative AI, and multi-agent orchestration to automate the transformation of technical engineering documentation (such as P&ID diagrams and system specifications) into structured simulation models.
This is a highly hands-on role focused on experimentation, rapid prototyping, and building end-to-end AI pipelines in a fast-moving Proof-of-Concept environment.

- Strong commercial experience with Python and modern AI/ML ecosystems
- Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems using frameworks such as LangGraph or LangChain
- Experience working with LLMs, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and tool-calling architectures
- Practical experience training or fine-tuning Computer Vision models (e.g. object detection, diagram/document understanding)
- Experience building APIs and backend services using FastAPI or similar frameworks
- Comfortable working independently in R&D/prototype-driven environments with rapidly evolving requirements
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to take solutions from idea to working prototype
Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience with Knowledge Graphs (Neo4j, NetworkX, RDF, or similar technologies)
- Experience with multimodal AI systems combining image and text understanding
- Familiarity with GCP services such as Vertex AI, Cloud Run, or GCS
