About The Role
The Staff AI Engineer for the Enterprise Analysis Platform is a pivotal role within Capital One's innovative AI landscape. This remote-eligible position involves partnering with cross-functional teams—including engineers, research scientists, project managers, and product teams—to develop and deploy advanced AI-powered products. The primary focus is on building a scalable, enterprise-grade AI native platform that empowers over 15,000 users across various lines of business to perform AI-assisted data analysis. The role requires designing, developing, testing, and supporting sophisticated AI software components such as foundation model training, large language model inference, similarity search, and governance systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to shaping the technical vision and roadmap of foundational AI systems, leveraging a broad stack of open-source and SaaS AI technologies like AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, Nemo Guardrails, and PyTorch.
