UX Researcher & Designer

IQVIA is seeking a UX Researcher and Designer to lead end-to-end user experience research and design for AI-enabled clinical technology solutions within the Applied Data Science Center. This role requires a senior practitioner who can operate independently, lead through ambiguity, and partner across product, engineering, data science, clinical, and business teams to deliver evidence-based, user-centered experiences.

The successful candidate will contribute to emerging Tiny Teams using the IQVIA Agentic Operating Model, a derivation of the Delta-Echo / FDE process. The role will focus on translating complex clinical, operational, and AI-assisted workflows and artifacts into usable, trusted, and scalable product experiences.

## Key Responsibilities

  • Lead UX research and design activities from discovery through delivery, including problem framing, research planning, synthesis, concept development, prototyping, validation, and post-release learning.
  • Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand user needs, behaviors, workflows, pain points, and decision-making contexts.
  • Translate research insights into clear recommendations, design direction, and product requirements that support business, technical, and user outcomes.
  • Design and evaluate experiences for AI-enabled products, including Large Language Model-based tools, agentic systems, automation workflows, and human-in-the-loop decision support.
  • Create UX artifacts such as journey maps, workflow models, personas, service blueprints, wireframes, prototypes, usability findings, and design specifications.
  • Partner closely with team leads and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, clarify tradeoffs, and guide teams toward practical, user-centered solutions.
