What’s the role?

We’re looking for a Staff UX Researcher to help define and raise the quality of experiences across Etsy. You will lead research and measurement passionate about Etsy UX quality, helping build buyer and seller experiences that are usable, distinctive, and polished.

You will establish a shared definition of experience quality and build the research systems needed to assess it consistently. You’ll benchmark core Etsy buyer and seller flows, identify the most consequential usability gaps, and help teams understand whether modernization efforts are significantly improving the customer experience.

This is a highly collaborative and influential individual contributor role. You will work across Etsy with Product, Design, Engineering, Analytics, and Research, translating evidence into clear priorities, standards, and recommendations. You will own a cross-functional research program, not simply a series of individual studies.

This is a full-time position reporting to a Director of Research.
