Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced
Staff Engineer – Data
to design and deliver complex software solutions across
hybrid environments (on-premise and public cloud)
. This role requires deep technical expertise and architectural understanding to build
scalable, secure, and high-performing systems
in a complex healthcare environment.


The Staff Engineer will lead the development of
data interfaces, APIs, and services for the Pharmacy Application
, support
data science initiatives
, and design solutions for
high-volume transaction processing platforms, ML model development, and application integrations
.


This role also involves
technical leadership and mentorship
, working closely with
Principal Engineers and Engineering Leadership
to drive innovation, architectural improvements, and technical excellence.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of software engineers.
• Serve as a key contributor in technical decision-making and architectural design.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable, high-quality software solutions.
• Build and manage data interfaces, APIs, and services for enterprise pharmacy applications.
• Support data science and machine learning initiatives through reliable data pipelines and services.
• Drive technical initiatives and engineering best practices aligned with organizational goals.
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines.
• Identify and resolve technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and system inefficiencies.
• Optimize large-scale, high-volume transaction processing systems.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
