Staff Accountant - REMOTE

Accountabilities

• Act as a partner to internal and external business teams by providing qualitative and quantitative accounting/financial oversight.
• Conduct various day-to-day accounting functions in support of the portfolio accounting team.
• Maintain assigned monthly workpaper reconciliations, identifying and resolving problematic transactions.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the year-end audit process and assist in month-end close responsibilities.
• Compile and analyze complex financial data and generate recommendations.
• Communicate positively and proactively with operating teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting and/or finance experience.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general ledger applications.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager accounting software preferred.
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
