Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Pacific Time

Location: Hybrid for Las Vegas residents (remote first environment)

Why This Role Matters

The Staff Accountant plays a core role in executing a clean, accurate, and timely month end close. This is a hands on position for someone who enjoys working with detailed data, understanding how transactions flow through the business, and taking ownership of their accounts.

You’ll work closely with the Assistant Controller and the broader accounting team, contributing directly to financial reporting while building the technical foundation required for future growth into senior accounting roles.


What You’ll Do

Month End Close & General Ledger

• Execute month end close activities in coordination with the accounting team
• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate support and documentation
• Perform complex reconciliations across high volume operational and balance sheet accounts
• Build and maintain reconciliation schedules and Excel workbooks
• Ensure proper accruals, classifications, and cutoff in accordance with GAAP
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including fixed assets, depreciation, prepaid expenses, and accruals

Analysis, Reporting & Team Support

• Analyze large data sets to identify trends, discrepancies, and operational drivers
