Staff Accountant (Temp-to-Hire) | Fully Onsite

We're seeking a Staff Accountant with 1+ years of hands-on accounting experience who is eager to learn, highly motivated, and ready to grow their accounting career.

Pay:
$26-$28/hour

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP required)
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

What You'll Do:

• Process full-cycle, high-volume Accounts Payable for multiple business units
• Review invoices, vendor setup (W-9/1099), coding, and payment processing
• Reconcile A/P aging reports and related balance sheet accounts
• Process corporate credit card expenses, reimbursements, petty cash, and mileage
• Prepare journal entries, assist with month-end and year-end close
• Research and resolve A/P discrepancies and vendor inquiries
• Support audit preparation and provide backup to the accounting team as needed
