Under the direction of the Grants Management (GM) Supervisor, the Senior Grant Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial reports and providing analysis for more complex assignments to internal and external customers, including CFO, management staff, funders, grantors, and government agencies. Assist with daily activities and special projects of the Grants Management Department.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Within a team structure, the Senior Grant Accountant will perform the following responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis, Reporting, and Compliance (45%)
• Grant Accounting and General Ledger Oversight (30%)
• Budget Development and Grant Lifecycle Management (15%)
• Training, Collaboration, and Process Improvement (5%)
• Audits, Research, and Special Projects (5%)

Job Specifications
Minimum Required

• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent required.

• Experience:

• 6+ years’ work experience in Accounting or Finance specifically with preparation of financial statements
• Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

• Travel: Some travel/business related driving required for all staff, large divisional events, and specified meetings.
