Responsibilities may not all be assigned; however, the candidate will need to be versatile enough to assume any of the tasks listed below:

Position Summary

• Participate in the monthly accounting close process to ensure a timely and accurate reporting of all accounting financial information to HEICO Corporate
• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis of the P&L and Balance Sheet accounts.
• Responsible for AAT’s fixed asset management, including preparation of Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs), entering additions and disposals in the Fixed Asset Software, ensuring all new assets are tagged and responsible for the fixed asset count performed every three years.
• Ensure day-to-day transactions (accounts receivable/accounts payable, cash receipt, credit card transactions, etc.) are recorded properly.
• Oversee vendor file maintenance to ensure timely receipt of EIN or SSN numbers, timely issuance of 1099’s at year end and proper identification of vendors and/or transactions subject to use tax.
• Drive process and reporting improvements and standardization efforts while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Conduct financial analysis and prepare supporting schedules required by HEICO for internal and external (SEC) reporting and for use in the preparation of the tax provision and tax return.
