Sr. Data Protection Analyst (Remote)

About this role

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Data Protection Analyst (remote) to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment.


Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available


Compensation: $125,000 – $180,000 annually


Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical controls across cloud and on-premise environments
• Configure and optimize DLP solutions
• Translate data classification frameworks into technical policies
• Drive eDiscovery data migration to a secure environment
• Support operational processes in collaboration with Legal, IT, and DevOps
• Monitor data protection metrics and prepare technical reports

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data protection and/or loss prevention
• 1+ years in eDiscovery
• Expertise in Data Protection technologies
• Ability to write and maintain scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field or equivalent experience
